Husqvarna bars (.325″)
When fitted with a .325″ drive sprocket (default), the Husqvarna 262XP takes all Husqvarna guide bars with the Small mount, .325″ pitch and .050″ or .058″ gauge. The compatible original bars are listed in the two tables below. Recommended bar lengths are 13″ to 20″, compatible bars outside this range greyed out.
Selection guide: prefer the light, narrow-kerf HLN-250 or XF-250 (X-Force) bars (w. SP33G chain) for occasional use and the HT-250 for intensive use; you may also choose the .058″ equivalents. Note that many .325″ chains are not quite within spec for the 62cc of the 262XP.

Husqvarna bars (3/8″)
Husqvarna 262XP may optionally also be fitted with a 3/8″ pitch drive sprocket. In this configuration, the 262XP takes Husqvarna bars with the Small mount, 3/8″ pitch and .050″ or .058″ gauge. These bars are listed in the two tables below; the too long 24″ models greyed out.
Selection guide: prefer FT-280 and XF-280 for general use, HLI-280 for short bars (14″ and 16″), HT-280 and HT-288 for long life and HA-280 for dirty conditions.

Oregon bars (.325″)
Oregon makes a large number of Husqvarna 262XP -compatible guide bars in the K095 mount, .325″ pitch and both in .050″ and .058″ gauges. These bars are listed in the two tables below.
Selection guide: the AdvanceCut™ (PXB) bars are lightweight and affordable and a good choice for occasional use. The replaceable-nose PowerCut™ models are more hard-wearing and last longer in heavy applications. NB. The narrow-kerf SpeedCut™ and AdvanceCut™ (MLB) bars (or actually the matching chains) are not rated for the 62cc of the 262XP.

A quick selection guide: the AdvanceCut™ bars are light and affordable and the best choice for occasional use; the replaceable-nose PowerCut™ models will last the longest in intensive use.
