Husqvarna bars (.325″)
The Husqvarna 55 takes all Husqvarna guide bars with the Small mount, .325″ pitch and .050″ or .058″ gauge when fitted with a .325″ drive sprocket (default). The compatible original bars are listed in the two tables below. Recommended bar lengths are 13″ to 20″, compatible bars outside this range greyed out.
There are quite a few models, but in practice the narrow-kerf HLN-250 or XF-250 (X-Force) bars with a SP33G Pixel chain are the best match for the 3.4 hp power of the 55.

Husqvarna bars (3/8″)

Oregon bars (.325″)
Oregon makes a large number of Husqvarna 55 -compatible guide bars in the K095 mount, .325″ pitch and both in .050″ and .058″ gauges. These bars are listed in the two tables below.
The narrow-kerf SpeedCut™ and AdvanceCut™ (MLB) bars (.050″) are probably the best choice for the power level of the 55.

With a 3/8″ drive sprocket, Husqvarna 55 takes Oregon bars with the K095 mount, 3/8″ pitch and .050″ or .058″ gauge. These bars are listed in the two tables below, with longer-than-recommended models greyed out.
A quick selection guide: the AdvanceCut™ bars are light and affordable and the best choice for occasional use; the replaceable-nose PowerCut™ models will last the longest in intensive use.
